Wednesday Linkage

-I really want you all to play Passage by Jason Rohrer at some point. Rohrer has received critical acclaim for his artistic engagement and game design; he helps us rethink what games are and can be.

-Play the Superhot 2D game written in html, css, and javascript. Then play with the code.

-Play Two Rooms... a super simple Twine game that might help get you thinking.

Lastly!

You can just bring your games to class on your computers...

Or host them at philome.la or itch.io

World of Warcraft

We will be having our class discussion about the graphic novel In Real Life online in World of Warcraft.

You can download the free starter version here. It's a big game and will take up a bit of space on your computer, so if you want to wait until the week before, that's fine.

Once you have it all installed, create a character on the Argent Dawn Server (so that we can all be in the same place)!!!

Explore a bit.

We will have our class in the Blood Elves' starting area, Eversong Woods, so if you're a bit of a n00b (and that is totally okay), then just create a blood elf and show up to class on March 23. You do have to create a character that is friendly on the Horde side: no humans allowed...
